This really does feel like the magnum opus Charli has been carefully working toward after redefining her career about 5 years ago. This is hyperpop at its finest and most refined, and Charli is carving out a unique place for herself amongst the pop greats. It's filled with club anthems that feels perfectly in tune with the state of the world today: as we become even more connected to the chaos (both beautiful and horrifying) of the world via the internet, we want to turn to creative outlets (like dancing/clubbing) to distract ourselves. This album is glitchy yet calculated, scatterbrained yet cohesive, retrospective yet pushes pop forward, and more. It's near perfect in my eyes and ears.

After a couple of weeks of listening to this album, I can finally say this is my favorite in their discography. It's their most mature and honest LP, using a raw master to add to the authenticity similarly to Fiona Apple's Fetch The Bolt Cutters. Each song serves a purpose and builds a narrative of how whacky life can be. While there may not be any pop hits like in prior records, it's really a beautiful continual build-up.

One of the most important records in Bowie’s discography. Really marked a departure from folk and baroque to a spacier glam rock that defined a new era. Unbelievable hits, with only a couple of “misses”.

Absolute classic and staple funk-jazz fusion album. Could be one of the best debut albums in either genre and it shows, being sampled somewhat frequently in hip-hop like "One Beer" by MF Doom and Madlib or "Mural" by Lupe Fiasco or "Exactly" by Earthgang and JID.
