    Hadn’t taken a full deep dive into this record up until today when I listened during my commute, and I feel like this one is the more challenging of the two most well known and acclaimed Sigur Ros records. While I loved this one it seemed that some of these songs carried for a little more than I wanted or expected them to and I don’t think that’s a knock to the album it could also just be the mindset I was in at the time haha.     A Chaos of Flowers is a refreshing turn for Big Brave while maintaining their heavy and droney roots loved the combination of ambient and drone metal without sacrificing just unrelenting and searing guitars and drums overall I really liked it but didn’t blow me away like their previous effort did that made me fall in love with the band

    6+ months later and I still can’t believe this was created by humans. This is some of the most unreal avant-garde rock music I’ve heard come out in a very long time and what absolutely destroys me is we won’t get to hear more under the Sprain name. Some seriously mind altering and transcendental experiences come from this album. It’s an absolute beast and a challenge to listen to but it’s so rewarding to upon revisiting

    This album is seriously incredible. One of those albums that keeps me coming back for more and more and I seem to not get tired of it when I revisit. Some truly beautiful and also brutal and depressive moments on here that have only gotten better with time.
