I have since forever been struggling with what my music taste is. But some years ago, one of the nights i was doomscrolling Wikipedia, I realised that my taste is labeled post-punk revival. Among many bands included in the genre are The Strokes, Interpol, and Arctic Monkeys. Unfortunately, the era of musicians creating that kind of music was dwindling around, maybe 2008(?).

So, I'm thrilled that Record Club brought me to Hana Vu. It's excellent proof that you still can make great post-punk revival albums.

Romanticism is not vital, but Hana Vu’s tracks on the album are the best when she takes a power stance and fills the rock arena with confetti. When that happens. The music blows my mind. Listen to Dreams, and you will understand what I mean.
