Atmospheric, powerful and showcasing the songwriting talents of Paloma. But at 56 minutes it's a little too long for my tastes so some of the songs by the midpoint being to drag.

It's the first album of his I've liked since probably Positive Songs, and there's quite a few great songs in this - but loses steam a little near the end. Feels buy-the-numbers at times, but Turner can craft a good folk-punk pop-hook when he puts his mind to it and this album has that a plenty.
