This makes me want to listen to Electric President's self-titled album on repeat, such a nostalgic feeling.

Been trying to get into Hovvdy for a minute now, but I could never get past the emo-ish vocals.

Thrilled to announce that I've gotten over it. This record slaps.

It's got twang, it's got a sittin'-on-your-porch-recording-with-your-buddies production style, and it's sprawling double album – of which I am a documented fan.

One of this year's best.

They are sometimes sounding like a country version of Death Cab for Cutie.

For quiet Sunday mornings or summer evenings. Many songs remind me of Bon Iver's work.
