For me this record is the perfect mix and combination of keeping rap modern and moving forward while having some excellent nods to the 90s in the best ways possible. Having a core production crew handle the whole record is a great way to make it feel cohesive, and you couldn't get much better than ALC and HitBoy so the beats are a win easily.
What really makes this album great is the way Benny is making songs that feel like something Biggie would be doing if he were still here. The best examples of this are the songs BRON, Big Dog, and How to Rap they have a real 90s feel without sounding anything like the 90s, which is amazing and hard to do. The repetition and concept of a song like BRON is the best version of rapping about rapping without being lame, plus the beat is crazy. The song How to Rap feels like some alternate universe version of Ten Crack Commadments, very matter-of-fact and braggadocious in the very best way.
