was traveling via night train listening to this album, pitch black outside aside from the little town here and there which ended up looking like their own little solar systems as if i was an interstellar traveler.
probably the best black metal album ever? the drummer was a racist, bigoted, murdering piece of shit just like another very famous musician from this genre. he is no longer in the band and they have openly denounced his views, so i consider this album alright to listen to.
moor mother is such an incredibly consistent artist, across side-projects, collabs and her solo output. this album is Dark, poignant lyrics about the past, present, and future. has a safe spot in my top 10 of the year.
bury me at makeout creek will always have a special spot in my heart, but WOW this album blows your socks off from beginning to end, great hooks, melodies, lyrics, the whole package, easy 10/10.
