I was introduced to Odie Leigh by my friend @sarahlynch. Last night, we went to her concert at the Bowery Ballroom, and it was amazing. She’s such a cool rocker who has a lot of fun while still engaging tenderly with her fans in a way that suggests she knows how much her music means to some of her fans. Carrier Pigeon takes a bit of a different beat than her earlier stuff, a little more upbeat sounding but still with good lyrics, music that gets better with each listen. I hope the rest of the album has more energy, or at least a couple songs with more, but this is fantastic and haunting.
