Post-Rave / Indie-Dance
The great lost genre without a name that existed from approximately 1989-1993, characterised by music inspired (or given its freedom) by the Second Summer of Love. Artists generally had at least some roots in punk, post-punk or 80s synthpop. What emerged was a short-lived, hybrid British sound that was never really a scene and lived alongside Madchester/Baggy, Shoegaze, Grunge, Trip Hop, Dub, Warp's Artificial Intelligence and early Britpop.
